As I explored the “look-book” on the vogue website and thought about an idea I arrived at the conclusion that my basis would be the labels. Every picture is linked to one label, they do the fashion-shows – the heart of the application.

So my idea is to present all the labels in an overwiev, to get an impression over all the 121.979 photos. This is the Data-Visualisation-Part. You can see which label has the most photos for instance, you can filter all the photos by the categories: season, model, trend, beauty look and celebrity. And then only the photos with your filtering will be shown. So, in the first step all the photos are offered to the user and one can reduce the huge amount of images during the course of time. And you will get furthermore information about for instance: which model runs for which label, or wich labels have a specific trend, and so on.

Another facility of the application is to explore the photos like a slide-show. You can zoom into the overview and have a closer look at each photo. You could navigate towards all the selected pictures. And maybe there is a way to add photos to a self created fashion label: my favorites. But I have to think that over yet.
